Truss Design Chord Orientation
Orientation choices are made
in the design and fabrication of 2 and 3 chord truss displays.
These
decisions
are made to enhance appearance and or strength.
When
using 2 chord truss you can choose to have Vertical or Horizontal
orientation. With Vertical you will
get load
bearing strength on the display for hanging fixtures and other
media. Horizontal orientation gives you a full wide look but
you will not get as much structural strength in this position.
Uprights / legs can be put across corner junctions or on front
/ back of joints to create different looks. Ask our support
team
which will work best for your next display or exhibit
booth.
Our
3 chord truss is a very popular truss system.
The three cord will directly affect the overall appearance
of your display. The diagrams to the left illustrate
the position of the truss and apex.
If the Apex is 'In' it would point into a display area. Whereas
an Apex that's 'Out' would point out
of
the perimeter.
Please discuss your choice with our support team when ordering
to ensure you select the proper orientation to get the stability
and design look you desire.
