Weight loads and overall structural stability are always something to consider when designing an exhibit display booth. We offer some guidelines on weight loads for the different styles of display trusses. Using these guidelines you should be able to form a good idea on the size and style of display truss suitable to your needs. Weights and loads are described in UDL = Uniformly Distributed Loads and in Point Loads. UDL would mean your weight or load on the structure is spaced evenly across a span of truss as opposed to Point load which would mean all or most of the weight being placed in the center of a span of truss. These guidelines are based on a solid piece or span of truss. Connections and inserts do weaken a structure so we always try to use as few connections as possible. If you are in need of some assistance please contact us as we will be able to help.
